Madina Nakashima, born in Pavlodar, Kazakhstan, was adopted and moved to the United States in 1996. She moved to the DC area a couple of years after she received her BFA from the Maryland Institute College Of Art in May of 2018.
She now resides in Catonsville, MD and her practice primarily focuses on abstract landscape painting in both oil paint and gouache.
